Born and raised in South Florida, my connection to storytelling began long before I ever considered becoming an author. As a child, I was drawn to the power of words, the way they could build worlds, shape emotion, and leave a lasting impression. One of my earliest defining moments came during an elementary school book fair, where a short story I wrote quickly gained attention from both classmates and teachers. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what that meant, but I knew it felt like something worth holding onto. As I grew older I was the friend who came up with stories, created backgrounds and lore, and in time I was looked at as the creative mind that could dream up anything.
As the years passed, life took me down different paths, as it often does. Responsibilities grew, priorities shifted, and writing slowly became something that lived more in the background than at the forefront, but no matter how much time passed, the passion never disappeared. Stories were always there, quietly forming, evolving, waiting. Not a day went by that my mind seemed to feverishly create stories that were begging to finally be transformed from thought to physical words.
Now in my 30s, I’ve made the decision to return to that passion with intention and purpose. Writing is no longer something I simply enjoy, it’s something I’m committed to. Becoming an author isn’t just a goal; it’s a calling I’ve chosen to finally answer after years of putting it aside. This is not the first time I have done so, but this time I am committed to making it happen. I have learned things along the way, as we all do, and now I plan on taking that knowledge to pursue my lifelong dream.
My work is primary rooted in fantasy and poetry, two forms that allow me to explore both the vast and the intimate. Fantasy gives me the freedom to create worlds shaped by myth, power, and conflict, while poetry allows me to distill emotion into something raw and meaningful. Together, they form the foundation of how I tell stories: layered, reflective, and driven by both imagination and truth.
Much of my inspiration comes from the idea that stories are more than entertainment, they are reflections of who we are, what we fear, and what we strive to become. I’m particularly drawn to themes of power, legacy, identity, and the unseen forces that shape both individuals and entire worlds. These ideas continue to influence my writing as I work toward building larger, interconnected narratives.
Outside of writing, I enjoy the simple things that bring balance and clarity. I’ve always had an appreciation for fast cars and the craftsmanship behind them, a good cigar to slow time down, and a glass of scotch to unwind at the end of a long day. These moments of stillness often serve as the quiet spaces where new ideas begin to take shape. I appreciate nature and the outdoors as well, I love gardening as a past time, taking up the art of bonsai to help satiate my desire to not just create with my mind, but my hands as well. I enjoy wood working among a plethora of hobbies. From nature to technology, and everything in between. You’ll catch me at a Ren Fest as well, enjoying the company of friends and loved ones pursuing my passion and love for the time period.
This journey is still unfolding, and in many ways, it feels like it’s only just begun, but one thing remains certain—this is the path I was always meant to return to.
